IT Architecture for complex systems

Introduction

Design comprehensive IT architectures in order to minimize the risk of developing complex systems.
When we design system and software architectures for complex systems, we have to specify the core design solutions with great detail in order to implement them successfully and efficiently. The fractional way how modeling languages are typically used is not sufficient to specify solutions for complex systems.

In this training you will learn the essentials methods in order to analyse, design, specify, document and manage your system and software architectures for complex systems in a comprehensive and efficient way.
Each step will be explained by hands-on exercises. We will also discuss how such designs can be managed during the whole lifecycle of the project. Furthermore we will discuss how to select and implement the right UML tool. Modeling examples in this training will be done with UML 2.
